Our growing third-party distribution franchise services a wide range of international fund distributors, including many of the leading global wealth managers. We distribute our products through banks, asset managers, independent financial advisors, insurance companies and family offices.
Our global business is structured to bring proximity and the best possible service to our clients making it easy for them to do business with us while taking advantage of scale.

- Alpha strategies are the cornerstone of our multi-boutique approach which combines the expertise of specialised internal boutiques with exclusive external competences.
- Outcome products are built on our “stable investment philosophy” to meet clients’ risk appetites and needs.

The approach
More than ever, stability, consistency and quality have become key in the asset management business. We are an active asset manager that aims to provide alpha and outcome solutions in diverse market conditions. Using alpha strategies is all about giving the fund manager freedom to invest within minimum constraints in order to maximise investor return. To satisfy growing demand for alpha strategies, Nordea Asset Management has established a multi-boutique approach that combines internal and external capabilities, where expertise in a given area can add competitive advantage and ultimately generate higher returns than the peer-group.
The strategy
We have adopted a multi-boutique approach to investing by:
- Establishing segregated teams for key asset classes, allowing each them to focus on its primary activity: managing money. This also translates into retaining competence centers that generate higher freedom of action for the investment managers.
- Combining the in-depth expertise of our internal boutiques with exclusive competencies of external boutiques in order to ensure that our clients benefit from a state of the art investment process for any asset class.
